    "description": "<p dir=\"auto\">GenD Society links a WordPress site to a business group on <a href=\"https://gend.me\" rel=\"nofollow\">gend.me</a>. It works on any WordPress install, and most of it works without connecting to anything.</p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">What works without connecting</h3>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>GenD page</strong> with readiness checks. It checks the PHP version, the sodium extension, REST API and loopback access, password protection and public DNS, and lists anything to fix before a move to a gend.me container. The checks run on your own server and only contact your own site.</li>\n<li><strong>SEO title and description box</strong> for posts and pages.</li>\n<li><strong>Live View</strong> in the block editor, which previews the page you are editing.</li>\n<li><strong>GenD dashboard.</strong> A redesigned admin look and dashboard, on by default. \"Switch back to standard WordPress\" in the admin bar always returns you to the standard WordPress admin, and you can turn the GenD dashboard on again from the GenD page.</li>\n<li><strong>GenD Society theme.</strong> The GenD page shows a card or a download link for the theme. The plugin never installs or activates a theme for you.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">What Connect adds</h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">When an administrator clicks <strong>Connect</strong> on the GenD page, the site is paired with a gend.me business group. After connecting you can:</p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li>see your gend.me plan and which features it includes;</li>\n<li>give gend.me support time-limited access when you ask for help;</li>\n<li>later, choose a paid move of the site into a gend.me container. A move never happens automatically.</li>\n</ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\"><strong>Nothing is sent to gend.me until you click Connect.</strong> Activating the plugin makes no outside requests. See \"External services\" below for exactly what is sent and when.</p>\n<h3 dir=\"auto\">Your public site</h3>\n<p dir=\"auto\">The plugin adds no credit, badge or link to your public site.</p>",
    "changelog": "<h2 dir=\"auto\">What's new in GenD Society 1.6.0</h2>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>The GenD dashboard is on by default.</strong> Your wp-admin opens on the GenD Society dashboard. \"Switch back to standard WordPress\" returns you to the normal WordPress admin at any time, and you can switch the dashboard on again whenever you like.</li>\n<li><strong>Connect from the Integration Hub card.</strong> Connect, Reconnect and Disconnect now open in a popup from the dashboard's Integration Hub card. The popup shows your connection details (site, group, install ID and owner). Reconnect lets you link the site to another of your gend.me groups.</li>\n<li><strong>Your plan, Compute Gas and Backups on the dashboard.</strong> After you connect, the membership card shows your plan with an UPGRADE button that opens gend.me's Change Plan page in a popup. The Compute Gas and Backups panels show your current values, and their buttons open gend.me.</li>\n<li><strong>Fewer pages.</strong> The separate Connect, Plan &amp; features, Groups and Feature Suite pages were removed. Old links to them now open the dashboard.</li>\n<li><strong>Member profile updates.</strong> Profiles get a clearer tab strip (including Commissions), a refreshed Contracts area, a portfolio and resume builder, profile video backdrops, Memberships tabs with joined-group cards and search, and a clear empty state on Invitations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Nothing in the plugin is locked behind a plan. Plans only decide what gend.me provides.</p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">Updates keep working as before: every package is verified (SHA-256 checksum and Ed25519 signature) before it is installed, and update checks start only after you allow gend.me connections.</p>"
